The Dentist and the SPLASH Park!!

Max and Zoey went to the dentist for their
very first checkup!

The dentist lovingly described her as a little chunk of love.
I personally LOVED that description of our Zo Zo Bean!
She had the entire office in love with her by the time we left...
I guess you don't need very many teeth to be
popular in a dentist's office!

We went to the SPLASH PARK today!
It was a blast and Zo got to show off her ADORABLE swimsuit!
It took the babies a little while to warm up the cold water, the HUGE crowd, and the chaos but when they did they LOVED it!!

Here is our smart little girl sun bathing!
She would seriously just lay out on the blanket and
soak up the warmth!
(love the chunky thighs and little cheeks peeking out of the swimsuit!)

It was a very beautiful, VERY SUNNY day here in Rexburg!
(hence the squinty eyes)

Here is our big girl standing!!
She may not have pulled herself up against the couch...
but she's holding on all by herself!

and her big brother couldn't be more proud of her!

Our nursery hooded slithering creature...

The Zoo! The Zoo!

Again. Our crazy little sleeper.

Such a pretty baby!!
10 months old now!

Daddy attempting to take a nap in baby infested territory.

Adorable.
LOVE!

Very intent.
Very cozy.
 THE ZOO

**Please excuse the fact that Max is not wearing pants in any these photos. While in the car he managed to untwist the top of his sippy cup and soak himself with water...

Grandpa and Grandma Perrenoud invited us to go the Zoo!
(yep. that's rhymes.)
Zoey may not look it in these pictures, but her and Max both had a great time!
Max figured out pretty quickly that if he moved from person to person he could avoid the stroller almost completely.
I can't blame him. The view was much better!

As you can see from above, me holding the camera didn't even phase him...
So I had lots of time with my Maxers!
Zoey has always LOVED animals.
This was heaven to her!

The Idaho Falls Zoo may not be huge, but we did see some pretty great animals.
A 2 week old baby zebra, some lazy lions...
a very friendly monkey...

an extremely entertaining monkey...

and some very elusive penguins.
We had a great afternoon and both the babies behaved incredibly well!
Here is Zo enjoying her Grandpa's company.
She just adores this man!

Sleepy Sleepy Zo Zo Bean

Max got this AWESOME car as an early birthday present.
He very much enjoys pushing Zo around the living room until it runs to a couch/wall.
Zoey doesn't mind this game most of the time.

Location # 5
June 10th, 2011
I was giving Max a quick bath while she finished her crackers...
the crackers were never eaten.

Sometimes Zoey doesn't like to sleep alone.

I swear this sweet baby is a narcoleptic!
She was playing with her toys one minute, then it got suspiciously quiet (Max was already napping) and I turned to Jason and said "What do you want to bet Zo is asleep."
We immediately ran out into the living room to find our little angel fast asleep.
No this is not the first time she has put herself down for a nap.

Arrg! Adorable pirate baby!

Soaking up the glorious sun!
Isn't she the cutest!?
My future pianist playing a sweet duet!
If only I could keep their curious little hands on the keys and off my sheet music!

Her Daddy's doing.
Zo Zo Potato Head

I LOVE this little girl.
I love her very delayed and sometimes premature celebratory clapping!

Zoey is getting to be quite mobile!
She is mainly utilizing the army crawl now, but old habits die hard and she sometimes spontatneously reverts back to the tried and true rolling technique.
I honestly don't think it's intentional. It just happens.
Zoey just has her own methods, but it works for her!

Busy little girl!

Zo Zo woke up in the middle of the night and needed her Daddy.
He got some good cuddles and she promptly fell asleep on his chest.
Zoey has started making the funniest noises while eating.
She is very much enjoying her food I guess!

I snuck this photo from the window.
Daddy is just hanging out with his little people!
We went on a family trip to the nature park!

We fed the ducks!

And walked around the park soaking up the sunshine.
Max and Zo raced down the slides.
Zo is the clear winner.
Maxers wasn't so sure about the slides.

After our fun adventure Daddy stopped and got us snowcones!
The babies enjoyed their very first (very lightly flavored) watermelon snowcone.
After awhile it took some prompting from Dad to get her to take another bite.
We had to record the awesome faces she was making!
We're just cruel like that.
I put a headband on Zoey for the first time in 2 months.
Needless to say she is very confused about what is on her head.
